We need to set term limits for the elected positions in the Senate and House of Representatives. Candidates who serve longer than 8 years can no longer properly represent their state or district after living "out of touch". You must be able to live among the people if you intend to know and represent their voice and know their needs. No one should be allowed to take advantage of and make a career out of a position that was meant to serve the public.
