Current government laws allow Congressmen and Senators to serve for a lifetime. This creates an environment that inhibits change and promotes congressional behavior that are focussed on re-elections, not doing what is best for our country. Recommend 6 year limits for Representatives and Senators (with a 3 year re-election cycle).
