We the People of these United States are demanding a lively debate on the subject of term limits for both houses of Congress. It is our view that career politicians are detriment to our liberty's and the continued prosperity of this beacon of freedom.
Over time a politician may become more influenced by the offer of campaign contributions from special interests ranging from the benign to the malevolent. It is also proven time and time again that the people disprove of both houses yet still continue to reelect the incumbents year after year.
It is paramount that a debate be started on this subject.
