Term limits for Congress is something that we the people have been asking for but fallen on death ears. Congress is broken and bringing accountability to Congress is needed, this would be one of several reforms needed to end dead lock and getting Congress back to work for the American citizen.
Introduce legislation to limit terms of office for the Legislative Branch to no more than 12 consecutive years and no more than 18 total years for the Senate, 8 consecutive years and no more than 12 total years for the House of Representatives.
