TERM LIMITS on Congress and Senate - 12 years maximum and no life pension.

Created by N.F. on January 13, 2012

Enact TERM LIMITS on Congress and Senate. No person can serve more than 12 years total (consecutive or non-consecutive). If Congress/Senate will not enact this legislation, President needs to open it up for a nationwide referendum -- let the people vote. Along with this term limit measure, enact legislation to end congress and senate pensions. With term limits, American Citizens are not left holding the bag paying these people for life. Public does not need to provide a pension to Congress or Senate - it's a burden USA does not need. As well, enact clawbacks for existing pensions on Congress and Senate people. They have failed in their job, time to cut the expense.
