Term limits in Congress are needed, now more than ever.

Created by D.L. on January 06, 2013

We all know that we have a Congress with the worst approval rating in history. Members of Congress are also highly influenced by lobbyists, and more importantly, they are less likely to act on important issues because they are up for re-election. Senate and House members are self-preservationists. They serve for too long, become too entrenched, and start to act as thought hey have blinders on and do not respond to what the taxpayers are saying.

Obviously, Congress will not vote to have term limits because it would not be in their self interest. President Obama must sign an executive order to place term limits on new Congress members.

Mr. President, if you truly are for change, then this is absolutely necessary in order to enact change. Your term is limited. Be bold. Produce change.
