Term limits on Congress. The people want term limits put on Congress, according to the last poll taken 65% are in favor.

Members of congress are much to involved personally and financially with the lobbyist and special interest groups. Corporations have stolen our Republic away from the people of this country. Members are voting on legislation that is influenced by campaign contributions and kickbacks from special interest groups. Let the people's voices be heard once again. Term limits would keep Representatives from becoming so dependent on any group that could influence their vote on legislation. This also would encourage compromise at the negotiating table to move the country forward and would also promote legislation that members believe is best for the country instead of thinking about their party or special interest. This would stop the two party monopoly and give voice to the people.
