Serving in Washington should not be a lifetime job. Congressmen and Senators are elected by the people to represent THEM.
This should stop special interest strangle holds (NRA) & inject new blood and ideas on a regular basis.
The fact that only middle aged and old rich guys can afford to be a congressman or senator is not what our founding fathers envisioned. The fact that they were able to play games with our taxes, which has no impact on them, is deplorable! And then walk away like a spoiled brat and go home for the holidays is totally outrageous!
This has got to stop.The President is only allowed to serve 2 terms so why not Congressmen and Senators?
