Term limits on Legislation and Laws To ensure relevance of a growing number of Federal Laws and Legislation.

We have legislated ourselves to such a degree in this country that 90% of the American public are living outside of Federal law. Translated, what that incurs is that at any time 90% of the public could be arrested, charged, fined and face possible prison sentences. I have long stated that our legal system is in dire need of housecleaning. Legislative bills and laws should come automatically with a shelf life. Each Federal law should routinely come up for updating as necessary or expiration in the event it no longer serves a viable need. As our country grows, so too do the laws that society passes. Unfortunately what we ultimately gain from that is a leading nation in incarceration of its own people. I consider if this is not in some part a key factor in past civilizations leaderships.
