Term Limits for Members of Congress

Created by J.M. on September 27, 2011

Members of Congress should be held to the same standards of term limits as the President of United States of America. Members of the House of Reps term limits should be six, Senators should be 2 terms or a combination of House Reps/Senator to equal 12 years. In addition, I believe that the President of United States terms should be extended to two 6 year terms. This would give all parties possible 12 years in office. This would also allow more focus on handling the business of the government and less on trying to get re-elected.
