Members of the US House & Senate do not 'represent' their constituents after their 1st 4 years in Washington. Unfortunately, their 'representation' becomes a 'representation' for self interest and a willingness to 'trade' for rewards with other Representatives, Senators, government appointees & officials, lobbyists, union members & union officials.
'Pork' legislation has become the norm for members of the House and the Senate--and, unfortunately--the office of the Presidency.
By limiting the terms of members of both the House & the Senate--transparency of actions of members of both the House & the Senate--as well as the actions of the President--will be increased.
