Term Limits for Senators and House of Representatives

Created by D.H. on April 10, 2014

Put into place term limits for the entire Congress - both the Senate and House sides. No one should make a career out of being a politician as they lose sight of the real world that exists. It is a special privilege to serve the people in this capacity and should be something a person is willing to sacrifice for.

Limits:

Senators: Two (2) term limits - no further benefits once their term(s) is completed...i.e., no retirement or pension, healthcare or any other benefits they received while in office.

House of Representatives: Three (3) term limits - no further benefits once their term(s) is completed...i.e., no retirement or pension, healthcare or any other benefits they received while in office.
