When our fore fathers created the constitution they created the three government branches to check each other's powers, mainly focusing on the power of the president. They however forgot to limit the power of those who sit in congress, allowing them to be elected over and over, making laws that only benefit them and their supporters and not the people. Its time we check the power of the senate.
