There is a young woman in El Salvador under the alias name of 'Guadalupe who has served seven years of a thirty year sentence. Her crime? Suffering a miscarriage. After suffering this miscarriage she was interrogated in her hospital bed with no lawyer present. Then after a show trial she was imprisoned. We need to take a strong stand and show we're not going to continue diplomatic relations with countries that treat women and other minorities as cattle. El Salvador needs to see that there are real consequences for violating the rights of Guadalupe and other women. I say it's time to terminate diplomatic relations with the Salvadorians. Time to expel their "diplomats" and recall our own people.
