As Congress has been unable to broker a budget that both provides for the common good and is relatively fiscally responsible, yet have found the power to provide a raise for themselves, it is obvious that they are no longer working in the best interest of the people.
We would like all members of Congress will be given their two week notice of termination. States will have two weeks to elect new representatives. They may not select any member who has been dismissed, as they are unable to rationally and reasonably make decisions. In addition, their life long benefits are forfeited.
Those new representatives shall not be paid until a satisfactory solution to the budget crisis is met. They will have one month to balance the budget, or meet the same fate of their predecessor.
