We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Terminate Federal Financial Aid to college students found guilty of property destruction or assault while protesting.

Created by K.S. on November 11, 2016

The right to peaceful protest is guaranteed by the First Amendment, but the Supreme Court has commonly upheld that the right to free speech ends when protesters infringe on other's rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. (See Chaplinsky v. New Hampshire, etc.)

College students are protesting the recent legal and binding election of President Donald Trump. These students often destroy property, and commit assault & battery on bystanders that disagree with their opinion.

We, the signers of this petition, call on Congress to enact legislation immediately terminating all Federal student grants and loans under the many programs provided by the Dept. of Education, and require immediate repayment in full if convicted of crimes against property or person during riot or protest.
