Terminate the mint of Pennies.

The USA 1 cent piece, the Penny, actually takes 1.8 cents to create. If the cost of time, labor, and raw materials to create the coin are worth more than the value of the coin itself, then why mint it? The Penny is basically useless now, in the Good Ol' Day pennies could actually buy stuff (gum, cards, canned foods, ect.). Now the ONLY things Pennies are useful for is gathering exact change at the register of a store. Is exact change needed? No, it is not. Many other regions of the world have removed their 1 cent pieces and have began to round the prices of purchases up/down to the nearest .X5 or .X0 The USA still produces over 4 million Pennies a year, that is $7.2 million spent on the mint of Pennies each year.
