Please give careful consideration to the termination of your "We the People" Petition program. We believe it is counter-productive, hypocritical and patronizing to suggest this program is effective in promoting "trust and transparency" in the administration.
When you provide only a rhetorical (non-actionable)response or you state your intention to take no action on the most popular petitions - even prior to the signature deadline, one can reasonably conclude that this program exists to accomplish nothing more than to "appease the masses". Therefore, this program can only promote mistrust and further compromises your stated purpose to increase transparency in our government.
