Near 50 million Americans receive food stamps. While there are certainly legitimate needs for public assistance, it is unfair for American taxpayers to subsidize drug addiction. This law will encourage personal accountability and will help to prevent the misuse of tax dollars. Require recipients to pay for the tests before qualifying for benefits and periodically after they receive them.
