Pleading the fifth amendment is counter productive to the resolution of governmental problems. Therefore any federal employee who chooses to plead the fifth shall automatically lose their job at the moment of declaration. This also will apply to their pension or future pension.
Any private employer who calls an employee in to explain a problem would immediately fire them if the employee refuses to explain their actions.
