The United States has drifted far away from the beliefs of the founders. Today we see our civil liberties infringed upon by the federal govt. these include the NSA spying on American citizens, mandatory minimums on sentences, etc. The Federal Government has further ruined our dollar by allowing the fed which creates money out of thin air making the people of the U.S. money worth less every day, The Federal Government continues to fight aggressive wars in foreign countries (Iraq, Afghanistan) which in no way help protect the American people at all it radicalizes the people of those countries and creates more hate for the American people. And in general we have seen a loss in the power of the people with the expansion of the Federal Government. Texas is best helped by becoming independent.
