We should thank Tom Cotton and his 46 colleagues for making an essential contribution to the peace process. Talks had stalled before the open letter from Sen. Tom Cotton, Sen. John McCain, Sen. Lindsey Graham, Gov. Rick Perry and others convinced the Iranians that it was in their interest to make a deal.
Secretary Kerry and President Obama should thank these men heartily, loudly and publicly several times. I'm sure their constituents would feel moved by the central part they had in procuring a pact with the government of Iran.
