Thank you for responding to my petition form. Sikhs are unique and different. We worship a living guru.

I am signing this petition because we want a change in the constitution of India, saying that Sikhism is different from Hinduism. We worship a living guru that teaches equality. We are Sikhs and we shouldn't be labelled as Hindus because we are our own religion with completely different beliefs. Our Gurus and our ancestor made sacrifices that can't even be lived up to.Till this very day we are still seeking justice for how much our Sikh community has gone through. I find it utmost OUTRAGEOUS that our extremely unique religion Sikhism is being labelled as Hinduism. It makes absolutely no sense for a religion to fall under another religion. What happen to freedom of rights. I feel that our world is moving backwards again. We should all respect each other and move forward together.
