There is a crisis in this country and that crisis is a lack of badass theme for our country

Now I've lived in the united States my whole life and I've enjoyed this time pretty thoroughly but I've never truly had a reason to be patriotic. This country seems to have lost whatever overwhelming charisma it once had so I have a suggestion I would like to put both our national anthem and the pledge of allegiance up to a vote as to whether or not to change them to something more of our time. And while I understand that our previous themes have held fast through tradition we must not be afraid to embrace a change of pace both for the view others have of our country but we as a society have out grown those which came before us. Do not misunderstand I don't seek to undermine our values I simply wish to see our country shine once more and I truly believe that this small change will help us
