My name is Elisabeth Sweetman and I am a survivor of a brutal murder attempt by Steven Christensen who took a hammer and hit my skull over 6 times with a hammer than strangeling and beating me. Only by the grace of god I lived past this terrible event. After the officer told be he would have to wait to see a judge but while I was getting my skull stapled back together he was bailing out of jail. Years of isolation I had no where to take my animals and run. I had no home and the man that attempted to take me life was allowed to evict me and stalk me until trial. We have to change this law that violent offenders are ALWAYS allowed to bail out unless they actually murder someone. This is outrageous and as a survivor I have to try to prevent anyone else from suffering from such unjustice.
