315 Soldiers committed Suicide last year (2012). As defenders of our Country we are hurting. There are so many risk factors that could lead to a Soldier committing suicide. This include serious financial issues. Why does a young Soldier earn less than $50, 000 a year (keep in mind, this Soldier life expectancy on the battle field could be less than 30%).
Congress, Mr. President our Soldiers shouldn't be living in poverty and on food stamps.....Think about it.
Give them a modest pay raise.
