These shootings have driven home the need for Mental Health Reform to help these people before another attack happens.

Created by N.C. on December 14, 2012

The shootings in the past several years have driven home the need for Mental Health Reform in this country. Every one of these individuals that perpetrate these attacks have been undergoing care, or recently removed from care from mental health professionals or in a mental institution. Often, the phrase is heard that they 'fell through the cracks' in the system and somehow weren't noticed until it was too late. Rather than blaming a hunk of metal and plastic for the carnage that results, tackle the real core of the problem, helping the individuals that would be at risk for causing such events. Give them real help and support, that we might avoid another incident like this. With your help, perhaps we an do more than reacting, but preventing them and helping others at the same time.
