think about it, the economy fluctuates up and down but we only get one chance with the environment.

Created by A.S. on September 26, 2011

Economies are supported by ecologies. Subsidized oil and sugar foreign/special interest have killed 95% of FL reefs and poisoned our fisheries. And we subsidized deforestation of Bald Eagle habitat in Alaska. These are results of regulatory capture. With industry plans to drill in the everglades, the tar pits, and mine for uranium on the Roanoke, most of the fresh water in the U.S will be ruined. Then what? The only scientist who would support this mismanagement is a dead one, like in the oil spill response plan all of our political leaders signed off on. Compromising on the clean air act and clean water act is tantamount to a crime against humanity; especially with the knowledge of peoples subsequent deaths premeditated, predicted and accounted for in the budget. End regulatory capture
