Think About Our World and Future Generations: Make Renewable Energy a Higher Priority

Renewable energy is crucial to the sustainability of our country and our planet. Only 12.7% of electricity generation in the United States is from renewable sources, and that percentage needs to be much higher. Renewable energy is also much cheaper than fossil fuels in the long run and will help our nation achieve energy independence. We must conserve the natural resources that have the potential to run out and make our world cleaner before it is too late to reverse the consequences. The government needs to make renewable energy a higher priority and raise the quota for clean energy production.
