We the undersigned request the White House to thoroughly investigate and define the meaning of 'natural born citizen' once and for all. We do not feel that Ted Cruz is eligible but rather than needlessly accuse nominees of their ineligibility why not establish right now exactly what 'natural born citizen' means. In the case of Ted Cruz, I feel his nomination sets a precedent for potential enemies of the state to attain the highest office. For example, a naive American woman living in Canada marries a jihadist disguised as a law abiding citizen of Canada, raises a child with secret (jihadist) values with the intention of gaining the highest office in the world. Limiting eligibility to those actually born on US soil with direct US upbringing and history would better secure our Presidency.
