As a future educator, I feel I speak on behalf of many future and past educators when I say Betsy DeVos lacks the experience, education, and commitment to be appointed as the Secretary of Education. Her previous efforts appear to subvert public education towards privatization, and this simply does not sit well for someone in a position of federal power over the public educational system. We respectfully ask that Congress be called upon to nominate someone more qualified and experienced for this position.
