There was a ticket trap set up by police of City of Monterey Park (Los Angeles) on New Avenue near Garvey Avenue in the morning on November 7, 2013. Police set up a tent with almost a dozen cops on motorcycles and a couple of actors to pretend they are pedestrians trying to cross the street. The actors started crossing when they see cars approaching and police on the motorcycle followed the cars right away claiming they did not stop and wait for the pedestrians to cross.
It was a set up done by the police and they issues hundreds of citation that morning. Police are making money by their power.
