Tie Congressional Pay to that of the National Average Median Income of it Citizens Act

Created by D.S. on September 27, 2011

With the recent outcry from Congressional members that the pay they recieve is inadequate, we propose that the pay from members of Congress be tied to that of the national average income of its citizens. This allows them to understand the strains of the economy on the people they represent and also allows them to understand the pressures America's families are under. The people's representatives need to comprehend our struggles and need to live within the means of the constituents they represent. Doing this will bring them from extremist views and back to the realities that we are dealing with today.
