America hands out assistance to many poverty stricken people. So much, that welfare has become a lifestyle. We should encourage responsible living, provide valuable job skills, and receive value for the money paid. Instead of a handout, this essentially becomes a paid job. Limit the term and amount of assistance available to each person. Able bodied adults should work in some fashion for the value received. They should also be required to seek full time employment, just like if you are on unemployment. If you are going to hand out money like a socialist, get value like a capitalist.
