Tie relief of student loan debt to time based commitment to non-profits or government service.

The Obama Administration already recognizes that the cost of education is rising and becoming less affordable for the middle class.The recent steps to give relief for those with student loans is a step in the right direction.We need to go further, and tie further relief to students who take positions in non-profits for a 2 or 3 yr. period or go into government service for a similar time which often means lower wages, will not only foster the ideal of service to others and to our country but attract some of the best and brightest of our citizens.This will encourage our citizens to continue to pursue higher education as an attainable and profitable option.This also puts money back in to the economy as those students have more of their income at their disposal
