Tie the salary of the House and Senate members, and the President to the median household income in the USA.

Created by J.M. on March 05, 2013

The members of the House of Representatives, the members of the Senate, and the President should pass into law a bill tying the income of all involved to the median household income in America. No agreements can ever come between these parties due to the fact that they never see any consequence to their own families, lives, or paychecks. This will also change the focus from political posturing in the legislative branch to the actual wellbeing of the average American citizen. The better they do for the people, the better they do for themselves.

For any given year, the average median income shall be determined, then applied as the salary for involved for the following year (i.e. median income 2012 will equal 2013 salary. median income 2013 will equal 2014 salary, etc.)
