The people of the republic of Congo deserve peace, the true peace of minds and hearts, and not a semblance of peace imposed by intimidation and tyranny. The people of Congo deserve true prosperity. The people of Congo fought hard and paid the price with its blood to restore the power of the people by the people through a pluralistic democratic system that guarantee the alternating of power. It is time that the United States request that President Sassou Nguesso renounce publically and officially to seeking a third presidential term. The people of Congo would be grateful to President Obama if he takes a stand on their side, not on the side of President Sassou Nguesso who sees his invitation to the U.S. – Africa Summit as the United States' endorsement of his policy.
