Toleration for the sake of the 1st Amendment

Created by A.F. on October 10, 2012

As you know children are influenced by the examples set for them to follow. As a God given right my children should be able to watch cartoons and feel normal in society. We do not practice religion and we study hard to please God so why are we feeling grief over the encouragement to celebrate holidays with immoderate reverence through the media and cartoons? Filter for the rights of a diversified American Public. Is the state religion Christianity now? Are we suppose to ban television entertainment for children who are not going to follow the traditions and holidays of Chritianity? How do you explain to a young child the history of church and dogmatic deception of holidays when all the cartoon channels display such celebrations as blase fun and without respect for all viewers?
