Too big to fail banks should violate anti-trust laws

Created by K.D. on July 27, 2012

First, I want to thank the Obama administration for allowing these petitions by ordinary citizens. Second, I want to explain my petition. My title, banks too big too fail violate anti-trust laws, should sound like an alarm bell across city and town, to warn citizens that a few large banks have gained a monopoly that needs to be broken up for the good of the country, much like Ma Bell Telephone Company was broken up after becoming a monopoly, several decades ago. In hind site, the benefits of breaking up Ma Bell have not only been vindicated, but have vastly improved telecomunications across the whole nation, by lowering the cost of phone calls, and by creating an atmosphere for inventions such as the cell phones, which have taken the country by storm. I end too briefly with yes, do it.
