Too much homework for the future of America, I say less than an hour of it or NONE at all!

Slavery was abolished in 1865, why do kids get home from 8-hour days of school to do more work? I, including many others, do not feel that kids and teens should have to do 4 hours of homework and studying after long stressful days of school. Believe it or not, children (including teens) have it hard too. Your teenage years are the years you're supposed to find out who you are. Today's generation does not have time for that! I say a maximum 1 hour of homework is enough, or less. Kids today do not have time to be passionate about the things they love, and that is shameful.The future of America will not have any artistic attributions,any major athletes, or anyone with huge dreams for that mater. Not all of us would like to end up working in a cubicle, going to a the same job for 40 years
