If the Democratic Party wants a Ban on Assault weapons than they need to do it 100% or nothing at all. By demanding that all firearms designated as Assault Rifles be banned within the borders of the United States, The Democratic Party should not exempt any law enforcement or government agency from this Ban since in their own words, these weapons were designed for the purpose of war only. And by that notion Law enforcement and all government agencies that operate within the borders of the United States do not need or require this style of weapon unless they are at war with the American people. And that the only organization authorized to have assault weapons should be the Department of Defense, and only for training in preparation for overseas deployments.
