Thanks to the media Tourette's is seen mostly as a joke. It's not a joke and people need to know that. Sure autism sucks but whenever I see someone collecting for its awareness all I can think is "people are already aware of that!" TS is serious and not only is it painful its humiliating. Put an end to the social stereotype.
(I care about autism and know its a serious thing but when it comes to awareness, we know already and I don't want your rubber bracelet.)
