Colleges and universities require a high school diploma or GED for admission. I agree that education is essential. Trade schools, however, are for people who are already in a trade but wants to become certified after years of perfecting this trade. Welding is a good example. I'm asking that trade schools be exempt from requiring a high school diploma to be admitted. My husband is welder but cannot comprehend what is seen on paper. However, show him how to do something with his hands and he could become a master in that trade. Again middle forties in age needs a different approach to the working field. Always open to better options.
