Train the homeless unemployed to build emergency shelters and infrastructure, to protect them and us from weather.

The goal of this petition is to solve many urgent problems we have with one fairly simple solution. The homeless and unemployed need shelter, and a skill or job. Moreover the weather and climate in the US is becoming more deadly, thus making safe (preferably geodesic) structures a 21st century necessity, which we currently do not have, but which those who already need a shelter can learn by building their own, and then others, and maybe also teaching yet others how to do it. It needs to be done though, and soon, or else maybe people are going to wind up...gone with the wind. We can prevent this. And what were once homeless are now Heroes.
