We need faster and more affordable internet across america, especially in rural communities. High Speed access in rural communities is sparse or difficult to obtain. Many ISPs do not want to invest in the infrastructure to reach rural customers.
Many ISP’s face little to no competition, even in urban areas, and most feel little pressure to increase quality of service and reduce prices. There are many countries who have faster average speeds and lower average prices.
The US postal service is struggling to adapt to the realities of this decade. Instead of focusing on traditional mail services, they should focus on digital communication.
The US postal service should transition into a national ISP and invest in nation wide fiber optic network. This will help rural and urban USA
