Stop the waste of tax-payer resources on lottery, cigarettes, alcohol and drugs for those receiving disability benefits! I work in human services and see hundreds of psychiatrically disabled individuals spending their entire monthly check on soda, junk-food, lottery, pornography and PRIMARILY cigarettes. Social Security already taxes too much from hard-working citizens, only to see their tax dollars thrown away to feed addiction and perpetuate both disability and government dependency. Many individuals on long-term disability are destroying their health, and the tax-payers are picking up the tab! Control how SSI/SSDI funds are disbursed to those in need, and end the free-for-all!
