Switch to the metric system. Imperial units are the work of the English imperial monarchy our founding fathers fought and died to rid us from. No measurement without representation! All of our countries scientists and engineers already measure everything in metric units. If the students of today wish to become competent in any technical or scientific field they will have to learn metric units and conversions anyway. And, as an added bonus, such a move would create a great number of jobs for road sign creation, regulators, and bureaucrats across the country to make the transition.
