Transparency in the Trans Pacific and Trans Atlantic Trade Treaties Talks

Created by S.M. on October 23, 2013

Why are the negotiations over trade treaties hidden from public view? Why are corporations allowed to participate, but other stake holders are not? Does the administration believe that the people would not like the terms? Is the administration afraid that there might be demonstrations against those terms? The idea of a democratic country is that the people get to make this decision. The democratic principles of the United States requires that these treaties be negotiated with full public participation and transparency!
