The electoral college system is outdated and flawed, we should not count votes from people in large highly populated states as less valuable than votes in small states.
The current system we have practically guarantees third party candidates that they will not win. It also makes 2 or 3 states center stage in the entire political spectrum leaving out the other 47 states.
This not only discourages voting for future generations because they are disconnected from the political drama but it also makes people misinformed about the election in general. I speak for many when I say that this system needs to be modified.
No president should win the election without winning the popular vote! Of course, there are alternatives, but what we have now is not acceptable for choosing the PRESIDENCY.
