I went to Hawaii with my wife for our honeymoon holiday from 4th to 13th, Oct. according to our travel plan. We spent much time for our journey preparation, started in May, and we eager to go to the Pearl Harbor and the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park so much, and that is why we dedicatedly choose Hawaii as our destination. We made an order on a travel agent and paid for the travel bill. It almost cost half of my annual incomes. But when we were about to leaving Shanghai for US , we got a bad news that many federal parks and monuments were closed due to us government shutdowns. Moreover, When we landed in the Honolulu airport, the news came true. we feel so depressed. I am writing this petition for compensation.
